Recently relaunched with acclaimed chef Jason Hughes now at the helm, the restaurant Ethos offers a fresh and delightful approach to local dining. With its focus on local, ethical and sustainable produce, Ethos was born from the desire to return to grass roots community based cooking. It aims to connect passionate foodies and farmers alike and, wherever possible, give preference to products that are local, ethical and sustainable. From the beginning to the end, Ethos is prioritising the way we live our lives in response to the environment, flora and fauna alike.
Dinner – Open Tuesday to Saturday nights for à la carte service 6-9pm. Bookings essential.
Lunch – Open Tuesday to Thursday for light lunches – Friday and Saturday for full menu à la carte service from 12pm. Bookings essential.

Couldn't have been more relaxing - except if we'd been able to stay longer. Lovely accommodation and staff. Didn't bat an eyelid when I was late checking out.. Called me as soon as they found out I'd left something in the room. We are looking forward to going back.

We had a fantastic stay. We didn't know what to expect because the place was older and some of the reviews weren't great (yes the bathrooms are small but you don't sleep in there!) however we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable our room was, how welcoming, friendly and considerate the staff were. Special thanks to Michael the host who couldn't do enough to look after us and make sure we were comfortable, and the chef Jason Hughes whose food was first class and above and beyond our expectations. We thoroughly recommend this place for a private relaxing getaway in one of the best locations in country NSW for a night or three.

This little gem is a regular pilgrimage for my now wife and I. I proposed to her here 3 years ago, we got married and had our reception here 2 years ago and have visited with international guests and stayed for wedding anniversaries. all because its a great warm welcoming boutique hotel. The attentive staff are always great, hospitable and accommodating. A chat and story from the charismatic Michael is a must. Try it, you'll like it.

Absolutely beautiful stay for our entire family. Service and accommodation was perfect. Michael couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Included breakfast was so yum and dinner and wine options also ensure that you don’t need to go anywhere else! Can not recommend this place highly enough 🙂

This is a lovely boutique hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. We spent most of the evening in the lounge area by the open fire having drinks. Didn't want to go out for dinner so had something from the bar menu and really enjoyed what was on offer. IT was far too comfortable sitting there. Breakfast that was included was very good as well. Staff were lovely and had a very enjoyabe stay. Would definitely stay there again.

We hadn’t been to the Southern-Highlands for some years and were extremely pleased we came here. We looked at several places to stay before we arrived but chose The Links for price and location. This 90 year old hotel was just perfect.

Stayed 2 nights in mid-winter. Rooms are nicely split into a bed and lounge area. They are quiet, comfortable, very well heated, and reasonably well-equipped. Small but modern ensuite. Staff were excellent - knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. An excellent breakfast service. Lovely lounge areas with cosy ambience and great views. Good free Wi-Fi. Good value for money.

Fabulous and friendly. From the moment I arrived until I left the staff were obliging and friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful drinking champagne by the open fire to Xmas in July dinner and breakfast was to die for. The room was warm and cosy and exceptionally clean.

Pretty guest house located about 20 minutes walk from Main Street of Bowral. Situated across the road from Bowral Golf Club (not main entrance but lovely aspect). We were welcomed with a glass of Port, a warm cosy room & breakfast the next morning. Ideal for couples -either on your own or with friends.
